No Sew items may seem a strange heading, however they do have their place to play in the sewing and needlework world.
No Sew items are project that are made with little or no sewing. This might seem at odds with what we are trying to achieve here at the Sewing and Needlework site at Suite101, however it isn't - really!
The good thing about no sew projects is that they get people used to the idea of working with fabrics and materials, handling patterns, deciphering project instructions and generally getting to grips with working with fabric without having to worry about the sewing part! This can help nervous sewers build confidence before embarking on a full blown sewing project.
