Strip quilting -- sewing together long strips to create a panel that is then cut into segments -- is hugely popular, and rightly so. It's my personal fave for quilt-making, because the piecing is so precise (perfect corners! perfect triangles!) and you can work with shapes such as diamonds without templates.
I've listed several ways that strip quilting can be used, but if you know of more give us a shout and share your techniques!
