» mocca55 - take on airplane

i read where knitting needles are allowed on as a carry-on...does anyone know if you can take punch embroidery? I have a long lay-over, and thought this would keep me busy. Thanks!

In response to take on airplane posted by mocca55:

I would speak to the airline. Although knitting needles are officially accepted, it does seem to depend on the airport and the day. I had crochet hooks confiscated in June...

Good luck anyway!
